HOW MUCH ARE CONSULTATIONS?
Our Standard Consultations are R350 and our Luxe Consultations with a bottle of bubbly are R550. Each consult is 1 hour long and you are free to try on as many gowns as you like with the help and advice of our knowledgeable bridal consultant.

ARE YOUR GOWNS LOCALLY MADE?
Yes at Fate & Love we are passionate about sustainability and being proudly South African! Our gowns are all locally made from start to finish by our designers in their studio. Each dress is carefully designed and are made with only the highest quality fabrics.
DO YOU HIRE GOWNS OUT?
No, unfortunately Fate & Love do not hire out bridal gowns.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY CONSULT?
It is advisable to wear nude underwear and bring a pair of heels. As space is limited and choosing a gown is a very personal experience, please limit the number of people you bring to two supportive people. Please avoid heavy make-up on the day of your appointment as it can rub-off on the gowns during your fitting. Any marks or stains that occur during your
appointment will attract a fee to cover the cost to have the gown cleaned.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING WITH ME?
As space is limited and choosing a gown is a very personal experience, please limit the number of people you bring to TWO supportive people. Having more opinions can be very overwhelming.
WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK TO TRY A SPECIFIC DRESS ON?
Should you have a dress or two that you wish to try on again while you make your decision you can schedule a half hour appointment with our consultant at R150.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE SAMPLE GOWNS?
Our sample gowns are all a size 10/12.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR ORDERING A GOWN?
Should you fall in love with one of our gowns, we will send you a quote and request a 60% deposit to confirm your order. We need at least 4-6 months to create each gown. Gowns ordered within the 4 month time frame will only be accepted if we have capacity and will incur a rush fee. If you are in Cape Town you will be asked to come for 2 - 3 fittings, including one to have your measurements taken. Your gown will be made to your exact measurements to ensure a perfect fit. Final payments will be required a week before your gown is collected.
CAN I BUY WITHOUT FITTING?
Purchasing a gown without fitting definitely possible if you are based outside of Cape Town and unable to attend an appointment. We are very well practiced at creating gowns off our clients measurements without fittings.
